Owner, founder, & horse lover, Jesi Kay Kindt majored in sports medicine and biology in college. With that knowledge she knows what it takes to make an athlete feel better. We ask our equine athletes to perform at their peak, yet how can they do that if they do not feel their at the top of their game? We ask them for their best, so let's give them the best!
Headquartered in Winfield, Kansas, EquiMag is a family owned business that is rooted in the competitive sport of rodeo. Growing up in the sport and continuing the legacy with her own family Jesi Kay is determined to give more to her competitive partner than she takes away.
About EQUIMAG Products
Magnetic Therapy has been used in medicine for over 100,000 years. Magnetic Therapy has enjoyed a role in ancient Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years. It is mentioned in the earliest writings in Egypt, India, and Greece. A 16th century physician, Paracelsus, thought, that because magnets attract iron, they could also attract and eliminate diseases from the body.
Magnetic Thereapy is non-invasive, natural treatment that works with the body's chemistry to help give pain relief and speed up the healing process. Research shows that magnetic fields are emitted by all livings organisms. A magnetic field provides a natural way to assist the body's normal healing process as it passes through tissues and cells.
Applying Magnetic Therapy (magnets) increases blood flow to injured, strained, and/or treated areas, which reduces pain and inflammation. How to Use
For general maintenance - leave Magnet Therapy products on at least two hours, gradually working up to being able to leave in place up to 12 hours daily.
Maget Therapy products may be used with ice on a rotating basis with hot and cold therapy if treating a strained/injured area.
Magnetic Therapy can be used regularly - on a daily basis for overall maitenenance.
Magnetic Therapy can be used before and after a hard workout, or competitions.
DO NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING
-Do not use on or near open wounds.
-Do not used if the horse has an acute, untreated infection.
-Do not use during exercise or competition.
-Do not use if the horse has a metal plate, pin or implant in the affected area.
-Do not use on an area that already had paint, liniment, fly spray or other chemicals applied.
